T-shirts, bodysuits, jumpers, dresses, sweatshirts, pyjamas and trousers are particularly suitable. These can usually be cut and made into your keepsake easily.

For memory blankets and keepsake cushions, you can choose from a range of backing fabrics and colours. Current options are shown on the ‘Fabric Selection’ page.There are additional fabric options for school cones. We can source specific fabrics from suppliers including Oderlandstoffe. Please contact us with any special requests.

Yes. Very chunky knitwear, socks and tights are harder to work with. Very small garments or motifs that do not provide sufficiently large fabric pieces may also be unsuitable for incorporating directly into your keepsake.In these cases, I will check the options once your clothing arrives. Individual motifs or special details may be suitable as appliqués. I will discuss this with you beforehand.

Yes. If a particular garment or design is especially important to you, please let me know or include a note in your parcel. It is best to mark the item clearly. I will accommodate your wishes as far as possible in the design. Depending on the garment and motif, it may be given a special position or used as an appliqué.

Production usually takes around 2–4 weeks from receipt of both payment and your clothing. As every keepsake is individually handmade, the time needed may vary depending on current orders.If you need your keepsake by a particular date, please contact me before ordering so we can check whether it can be completed in time.

Yes, of course. You can send clothing in different sizes. I adapt the cutting individually to create a balanced overall design.

Yes. Once your clothing arrives, I look carefully at every item. Some motifs or special details cannot be used as a complete fabric piece because of their size or shape, but may work as an appliqué.If a motif is suitable for an appliqué, I will discuss it with you first. You then decide whether you would like any appliqués added for an extra charge, and which ones.Each appliqué costs €20 and is charged only with your express agreement.

Memory blankets can be machine washed at 30°C. Please do not tumble dry them. After washing, gently reshape the blanket while it is still slightly damp, then allow it to air dry.Keepsake cushions and teddy bears can also be machine washed at 30°C. I make them fully stuffed as standard, and they can be washed with their filling.If you would prefer a keepsake cushion with a removable zipped cover and separate inner cushion, please mention this in the notes field when ordering or include a note in your parcel.

No, you do not need to wash the clothes again immediately before sending them. However, all clothing sent in must be clean.

We normally dispose of fabric scraps left over after making your keepsake.If you would like the scraps returned, that is of course possible. Please mention this when ordering or include a note with your clothing. We will then return the leftover fabric with your finished keepsake.
